Fantasy Team Ladies League

Format

This is a 5-week league starting May 9th to June 6th. This will run on Thursdays from 4pm-6pm.

There will be 4 Proshot Staff captains that will choose teams.

Each team will consist of 8 players. Your captains can help set your lineups for the week.

Every week you will play with a different partner from your team.

Your team will be set and texted in an hour before to set the lineups for the week.

Your team will have 4 teams A B C D. A's will play A's, B's will play B's, C's will play C's, and D's will play D's. You will play all 3 teams each night.

Each round consists of Group Play and Team Play. Every group round will include 1 standard game straight to 15, or 20-min time limit whichever comes first. After Group Play, teams merge onto one court to play in the TEAM FRENZY- which is a full-team match straight to 21, rally scoring. Pairings will play 4 points at a time and the team will rotate every 4 points until someone reaches 21. 

All games are worth 1 point including the frenzy. So, each Match is worth a total of 5 points, 15 max points in a night for a team.

We will use how many total points to set what seed team gets.

TEAM FRENZY:

This is played similar to a dreambreaker at MLP. You will play 1 game to 21 with RALLY SCORING. 

While a Dreambreaker is a singles format where each individual team member comes on and plays for 4 points until a team hits 21, this will be played with your doubles partner. You will not switch sides after each point, meaning if you start on the left side, you stay on the left side even if you score a point. There is a point on every serve whether you’re on offense or defense. Group A will play for 4 points, followed by B, then C, and then D. You will keep this rotation until a team reaches 21 points.

Subs

We will need to have subs to make this league work. Please let your captain know if you can't make it for a week.

Nightly Schedule:

Round 1: Team 1 vs Team 2 | Team 3 vs Team 4

Round 2: Team 1 vs Team 3 | Team 2 vs Team 4

Round 3: Team 1 vs Team 4 | Team 2 vs Team 3 

Week 5: Playoffs and Finals

After 4 weeks, we will look at the league standings to set the matchups. 

Semi-Finals: 

The team in 1st place will play the team in 4th place. 

The team in 2nd place will play the team in 3rd place. 

Finals:

The teams who won their semi-finals match will play for GOLD.

The teams who lost will play for BRONZE.

PRIZE FOR GOLD:

Each member of the winning team will receive $40 in club credits.
